Em comemoração ao dia da mulher foi realizado um momento de confraternização com os alunos da Turma 1 – Vespertino iniciando às 15:30h e terminando às 16:30h.
Professor Luis Martins Machado, diretor da Faculdade; Antonio da Costa Cardoso Neto, coordenador do curso; e Carleilson Santiago de Farias, secretário acadêmico; deixaram suas mensagens de felicitações às mulheres, juntando-se aos professores Carlos Alberto Gonçalves Colares e Gracilene Oliveira da Silva que, assim como o discente Wanderson Carvalho Moraes, falaram da importância das mulheres na sociedade.
No período noturno as comemorações iniciaram-se Às 19:00h com a Doutora Joselma Almada, Delegada da mulher, que expôs a palestra com o tema Direitos da Mulher para todos os discentes da turma B noturno. Ao fim da palestra foram homenageadas a senhora Maria Das Graças Santana, Ex-Secretária de Educação de Santa Inês, a Doutora Joselma Almada e as funcionárias da Escola Tecnica de Comércio Santa Luzia, Nilde Rosa Assis Soares, Maria Natividade Ximenes Araújo e Maria da Conceição Azevedo da Silva.
O cantor Marquinhos França animou a confraternização que aconteceu na sala da Biblioteca da Faculdade Santa Luzia, unindo os funcionários e discentes do curso Enfermagem Bacharelado. Foram entregues as lembranças aos discentes e rosas à todas as mulheres presentes.
Com clima de agradecimento e entusiasmo as comemorações encerraram-se às 20:30h.
