Tema: Um novo olhar na dimensão do cuidar
Com a finalidade de instituir sua Semana da Enfermagem, a Faculdade Santa Luzia tem como referência a Semana Brasileira de Enfermagem celebrada anualmente pelas diversas instituições no país.
A Semana da Enfermagem foi instituída em 1940 pela Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery, idealizada por sua Diretora Laís Netto dos Reys, com início em 12 de maio (para celebrar o nascimento de Florence Nightingale em 1820), e término em 20 de maio (para rememorar o falecimento de Anna Nery, em 1880).
